Medical and Health Benefits
- Private health coverage through Rimac S.A. Entidad Prestadora de Salud for the colleague and their legal dependents (spouse/domestic partner and children under 18 years old). Shared financing: Pfizer covers 90% and the colleague covered 10%.
- 70% discount on Pfizer medications based on the final sale price.
Financial Health
Retirement and Income Protection
- Emergency loan of up to 70% of four gross base salaries, repayable within a maximum of 12 months.
- Life insurance through Rimac Seguros y Reaseguros: 16 monthly salaries for natural death and 32 monthly salaries for accidental death or total/permanent disability.
Time Off
Vacation and Leave
- 30 calendar days of vacation per full year of work, distributed in two periods:
- First period: 15 consecutive days (in blocks of 7, 8, or 15 days).
- Second period: 15 days, which may be taken in shorter periods of less than 7 days; colleagues may request from 1 business day up to 11 business days, with the remaining 4 days assigned to weekends.
- Maternity leave: 98 legal days plus an additional 1 prenatal week and 2 postnatal weeks as a Pfizer benefit. Up to 7 additional weeks may be requested without pay.
- Lactation leave: 1 daily hour until the baby’s first birthday. A lactation room is available on-site. An additional lactation bonus is granted by Essalud to the primary colleague (mother or father).
- Sick leave: Starting on the 21st accumulated day in the year, Essalud covers up to 150 consecutive days, extendable to 310 days if applicable.
- Paternity leave: Up to 12 weeks, either continuous or in two blocks of 6 weeks, within the baby’s first year.
- Adoption leave: 30 days as per law. Pfizer extends this to 12 weeks if the child is up to 1 year old.
- Family care leave for serious illness: Pfizer grants 14 calendar days, extendable up to 30 days charged to vacation.
- Blood or organ donation: 1 day for blood donation; the necessary time for organ donation as per medical instruction.
- Bereavement leave: 10 days for the death of a spouse, child, or parent; 5 days for siblings, in-laws, grandparents, or grandchildren.
- Marriage leave: 2 paid business days.
- Birthday leave: ½ day off if it falls on a business day.
- Voting leave: 1 day (Monday) if serving as an election board member or voting outside the place of residence.
- Graduation day: 1 business day.
- Hybrid model (LIFYD): On average, 2.5 days of in-person work per week, depending on the colleague’s role.
- Flex10 Program: Possibility to work up to 10 business days per year from another location within Peru.
Family Support and Additional Savings
- Annual school allowance per school-aged child at the beginning of the school year.
- Meal card with a monthly allowance (Administrative colleagues only).
Recognition and Professional Development
- Holiday basket delivered with the December payroll.
- Service awards for tenure (5, 10, 15, or more years, in five-year increments).
