Medical and Health Benefits
- Medical Insurance through Panamerican Life: Pfizer covers 70% of the premium cost, while the colleague contributes the remaining 30%.
- Major Medical Expenses Insurance through BMI: Pfizer covers 70% of the premium cost, while the colleague contributes the remaining 30%.
- Pfizer Medication Discount: Annual reimbursement or subsidy subject to a set limit.
Financial Wellness
Retirement and Income Protection
- Emergency Loan: Up to three times the monthly salary, repayable within 12 months.
- Life Insurance through Panamerican Life: Effective from the first day of work, 100% of the premium covered by Pfizer.
Time Off
Leave and Vacation
- Medical leave up to 3 consecutive days: Pfizer covers 100% of salary.
- Medical leave over 4 days: The first 3 days fully paid by Pfizer; from the 4th day, Pfizer covers 25% and IESS covers 75%.
- Treatment for children with degenerative illness: Up to 25 days, taken jointly or alternately.
- Family care leave: Up to 10 additional paid days.
- Pfizer Maternity Benefit: In addition to the legal 12 weeks, Pfizer grants: 3 weeks prior to birth + 2 additional weeks under family caregiver leave.
- During the 12 weeks of legal maternity leave, IESS covers 75% and PFizer covers 25% of salary.
- Paternity Leave: 12 weeks, continuous or split, applicable until the child turns 1 year old.
- Adoption Leave: 12 weeks if the adopted child is under 1 year old. Applies to either parent.
- Breastfeeding: Reduced workday of 6 hours, including 2 hours dedicated to breastfeeding, for 12 months after childbirth.
- Bereavement Leave: 10 days for the death of a spouse, child, parent, or sibling; 5 days for the death of in-laws, siblings-in-law, or grandparents.
- Marriage Leave: 3 paid days (applies to either civil or religious ceremony).
- Birthday Leave: ½ paid day if it falls on a business day.
- Personal Errands: 2 days per year, without affecting vacation balance. May be used in full or partially.
- Collective Vacation: Paid time off between December 24 and January 1. December 24 and 31 are additionally granted by Pfizer.
- Holy Thursday: Paid day off granted by Pfizer in April.
- Compensatory Days: For personal/family recovery after work activities carried out on mandatory days (Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays).
- LIFYD Hybrid Model: Hybrid work mode with an average of 2.5 days per week on-site.
- Flex10 Policy: Up to 10 workdays per year from an alternate location within Ecuador.
Additional Savings
- Meal Subsidy: Pfizer covers 75% and the colleague 25% of the on-site lunch cost (applies only to administrative colleagues).
Recognition and Benefits
- Year-End Gift: Included in the December payroll.
- Christmas Bonus: For children under 12, paid together with the December payroll.
- Service Milestone Recognition: For 5, 10, 15, or more years of service.
- Global BRAVO Program: To recognize achievements among colleagues.
